Questions, answered plainly.

What owners ask us first: what we build, what it costs, who owns it, and what happens after launch. If yours isn’t here, ask us.

Working with us

What does Olive Branch do?

We design and build websites for established businesses. If it helps, we can also build a client portal, a CRM or follow-up that answers every inquiry. Then we stay on and keep improving what we built.

Who do you work with?

Established businesses with high-ticket clients. They’re usually referred, and the client looks them up before calling. We work across industries, so we don’t sell one template to everyone.

Do you only build websites?

No. The website is usually where we start, and for many clients it’s all they need. If it helps, we can also build a portal where clients see updates, a CRM shaped around how you work, or follow-up so no inquiry waits. Tools that already work stay, and we connect to them.

Are you an agency, a studio or a freelancer?

A small studio. You work with the team that designs and builds your work, not an account manager who passes messages along. Unlike a solo freelancer, more than one of us knows your business, so work doesn’t stop when someone is away.

Who will I talk to?

The team that builds it. Messages and requests go through your client portal, so nothing gets lost in an inbox.

Where do you work?

Anywhere. Everything runs through your portal and a call.

Cost and ownership

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need, so we quote after a first conversation rather than publish one price. Tell us what you’re juggling, and we’ll come back with a quote.

For a sense of the market, we’ve gathered what other studios publish, with links, in what a website costs in 2026.

Do I own the website?

You can own everything outright: the code, the domain and the hosting. Or you can spread the cost over a partnership. We’ll set it up the way that fits.

What’s a partnership?

Instead of paying for the build up front, you spread it over a monthly fee, and we keep improving what we built for you the whole time. The term and what the monthly fee covers are set out in your quote.

Is there a contract?

Yes, a short one in plain English that says what we’ll build, what it costs and who owns what.

How long it takes

How long does a new website take?

Most websites go live in about three weeks. Tools such as a client portal or a CRM take longer, and we’ll give you dates in the quote.

What happens first?

A conversation. You tell us how your business works and what you’re juggling, and we tell you what we’d build first and what it would cost.

How much of my time will it take?

A first call, a few short reviews as the work takes shape, and quick answers to our questions in the portal.

After launch

Do you stay on after launch?

Yes. That’s the point. Owners who’ve hired agencies tell us the site stopped improving the day it launched. We keep improving yours, and you see what changed in your portal.

How do I ask for a change?

Send a request in your portal and watch it move from Received to Done. No email threads, no chasing.

What if I want to leave?

If you own the site outright, it’s yours, and we’ll help you move it. On a partnership, the quote sets out how a handover works. Nobody should have to ask for their own website back.

We wrote up what to check about ownership with any studio, not just us.
